DIY Recipes
All Purpose Cleaner
Recipe 1
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 2 cups of water
- 20-30 drops of essential oils
Recipe 2
- 4 tbsp of baking soda
- 1 quart of warm waterr
Instructions
Pour ingredients from Recipe 1 or Recipe 2 into a spray bottle. Put the lid on and gently swirl the bottle to mix the ingredients. Mix well.
Floor Cleaner
Recipe 1
- 1/2 vinegar
- 1/2 water
Instructions
Pour ingredients into a spray bottle. Put lid on and swirl the bottle to mix the ingredients. Mix well.
Glass Cleaner
Recipe 1
- 1/2 vinegar
- 1/2 water
Instructions
Pour ingredients into a spray bottle. Put lid on and swirl the bottle to mix the ingredients. Mix well.
Bathroom Cleaner
Recipe 1
- 1/2 vinegar
- 1/2 water
Instructions
This solution will clean tiles, counters, cabinet fronts, and soap scum in the shower. For stuck-on gunk (i.e. gunk in the shower and tub) use a mixture of baking soda and water.Mix well.
Recipe 2
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tbsp of baking soda
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 lemon juice
- 15 drops of essential oils
Instructions
Pour the water and vinegar into a spray bottle. Add baking soda and shake well to combine. Add either lemon juice or any essential oil drops. Shake well!
Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Recipe 1
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1 cup vinegar solution
Instructions
Pour 1/4 cup baking soda and 1 cup vinegar in the toilet. Let it sit for 15 minutes.Then scrub.
Air Freshner
Recipe 1
- 1 cup of distilled water
- 2 tablespoons of alcohol
- 20-30 drops of essential oils
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in the spray bottle and shake well. Before each use, shake it well to help release essential oils fragrance in the mixture.
Stainless Steel Cleaner
Recipe 1
- Eco-friendly dish soap
- Baby oil or mineral oil
Instructions
Wipe the stainless steel suface with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of dish soap and water. Let dry. Drop a small amount of baby oil on a different soft cloth and wipe along the grain of the stainless steel panel.

Recipe 2
- Olive Oil
- Vinegar
Instructions
Simply rub the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of olive oil. Wipe the oil off the surface with another soft cloth dampened with vinegar.

Degreaser
Recipe 1
- 2 cups of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
- 20 drops of lemon juice or lemon essential oil
Instructions
Citrus is great for cutting grease because of the limonene in the peels. Mix 2 cups of warm water, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and 20 drops of lemon essential oil in a spray bottle. Spray on grease and wipe away with a damp towel. You can also use lemon juice instead of lemon essential oil.
