Cleaning Supplies List
The following eco-friendly cleaning supplies are required for every cleaning appointment.
You can usually find these items at Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Superstore, Walmart, or other large chain stores.

All Purpose Cleaner
Greenworks (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart), PC Green (Superstore), Simple Green (Home Depot, Canadian Tire), Method All-Purpose Cleaner (Canadian Tire, Superstore), Seventh Generation (Superstore), Murphy’s Oil (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart), Eco Max (Superstore), Great Value (Walmart), or any other eco-friendly all-purpose cleaner.
Greenworks (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart), Nature Clean (Superstore), Great Value (Walmart), mixture of vinegar and water, or any other eco-friendly glass cleaner
**3 Rolls Minimum per appointment**
Bounty, Great Value (Walmart), or an equivalent brand
Vileda, Clorox, or equivalent brand
Greenworks (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart), PC Green (Superstore), Honest Bathroom Cleaner (Canadian Tire), or any other eco-friendly bathroom cleaner
Scotch Brite, Great Value or equivalent scrub sponge brand
PC Green (Superstore), Murphy’s Oil (Home Depot, Superstore, Walmart), or any other eco-friendly floor cleaner, or mixture of water & vinegar
Vileda, Great Value, or equivalent brand
Air Wick, Febreze, or Glade – Apple Cinnamon, Lavender, Citrus, etc. (Available in most stores)
**OPTIONAL – DIY Eco-Friendly Air Freshener**
Mix 1 cup water (distilled works best), 2 tablespoons alcohol, and 20-30 drops essential oils in a spray bottle.
Instructions – Combine all the ingredients in the spray bottle and shake well. Before each use, shake it well to help release essential oils fragrance in mixture.
**2 Bags minimum per appointment** – Glad, Great Value, or equivalent brand
HDX (Home Depot), Mean Green (Canadian Tire, Walmart), Oil-Lift Non-Toxic Cleaner-Degreaser (Home Depot), or any other eco-friendly degreaser
**OPTIONAL – DIY Eco-Friendly Degreaser**
Mix 2 cups warm water, 1 tablespoon baking soda, and 20 drops lemon essential oil in a spray bottle.
Instructions – Citrus is great for cutting grease because of the limonene in the peels. To make this degreaser, use lemon essential oil. Mix 2 cups of warm water, 1 tablespoons of baking soda, and 20 drops of lemon essential oil in a spray bottle. Spray on grease and wipe away with a damp towel. You can also use lemon juice in this instead of essential oil.
Stainless Steel Cleaner
**DIY Eco-Friendly Stainsteel Cleaner**
Dish Soap – Greenworks (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart) or eco-friendly equivalent and Baby Oil or Mineral Oil
Instructions – Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of dish soap and water. Let dry. Drop a small amount of baby oil on a different soft cloth and wipe along the grain of the stainless steel panel.
**DIY Eco-Friendly Stainsteel Cleaner**
Olive Oil and Vinegar
Instructions – Simply rub the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth dampened with a small amount of olive oil. Wipe the oil off the surface with another soft cloth dampened with vinegar.
Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Greenworks (Canadian Tire, Superstore, Walmart), PC Green (Superstore), Great Value (Walmart), Method Toilet Cleaner (Canadian Tire, Superstore), or any other eco-friendly brand
Vacuum, Mop, and Broom & Dust Pan are optional.
Broom & Dust Pan
Optional – Vileda, Great Value or equivalent brand
Optional Items note:
We ask all our customers to leave out their vacuum, mop, and/or broom for you to use. When you do, please take care to leave it in a clean state after you finish.
If you want to bring your own vacuum, mop, and/or broom to your appointments that’s okay too. You may feel like your equipment is better, the customer’s may be broken, or sometimes they just don’t have these items on hand. For these instances, it may come in handy as a back up.
All of the items on the cleaning supplies list can be purchased at Walmart, Home Depot, or Superstore.
If you have a different brand of cleaner that you prefer to use (ie. Norwex) please feel free to call or email us to ask for approval.
When you submit the intial picture for your cleaning supplies, please make sure that all items are visible. See example below:[IMAGE]
It will be your responsibility to store all these items, bring them to every appointment, and replenish them.
There may be times where a new shift will come up when you’re originally only scheduled for one, so please ensure you always have enough supplies for a full day, every day.
